Overview: My3Tech is in search of a dedicated Cybersecurity Operations Specialist to enhance our security monitoring capabilities. This role involves ensuring that our asset inventory is consistently updated with application policies and assessing what is permissible and restricted within our operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced software tools such as Carbon Black, Symantec, and Splunk for application whitelisting, threat detection, monitoring, and response.
- Conduct thorough evaluations to maintain optimal security hygiene across hardware assets.
- Oversee the inventory and monitoring of hardware using SolarWinds.
- Leverage networking expertise to understand system connections and tool functionalities.
- Implement operational technology (OT) security measures, including experience with OT Base and Nozomi.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in security and asset monitoring.
- Proficient in OT intrusion detection and security/monitoring applications.
- Experience with threat detection software, particularly Carbon Black.
- Familiarity with antivirus solutions, especially Symantec.
- Hands-on experience with operational monitoring systems like Splunk.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in oil and gas operational technology.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for enterprise applications.
