Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nursing Graduate to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Nursing Graduate, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including responding to patient needs, performing clinical skills, and documenting patient information.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and achieve excellent patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and technologies.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and compassion.
Requirements
  • Unlicensed graduate of an accredited BSN or ADN program, having completed all necessary clinical coursework.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire or obtained within 60 days of hire with prior approval.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for extended periods, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of previous experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on nursing or patient care.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
