Are you dedicated to upholding cleanliness and ensuring a secure atmosphere? Verano is in search of a Sanitation Associate to oversee the maintenance of our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a range of sanitation, stocking, and cleaning duties to ensure our environment remains pristine.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and supply assigned areas of the facility, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom sanitation.
- Conduct regular inspections and document any findings.
- Engage in heavy cleaning tasks and assist with special projects as needed.
- Support the sanitation of outdoor areas when required.
- Operate various cleaning machines and sanitation tools effectively.
- Promptly report any maintenance issues or deficiencies to management.
- Efficiently stock and organize supply areas.
- Comply with health and safety regulations consistently.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Familiarity with cleaning agents and supplies.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain heavy machinery.
- Comfort with working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physically capable of performing tasks such as climbing, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, and standing for long periods.
- Must be 21 years or older and eligible for state cannabis commission registration.
- Adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or maintenance roles is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and OSHA regulations is beneficial.
This position necessitates physical capabilities such as remaining stationary, lifting items, standing for extended durations, working at heights, and adapting to varying environmental conditions. Vision adjustments and focus are essential for detailed observation. Candidates must be equipped to meet the physical and mental demands of the role effectively.
Work EnvironmentThe work setting is primarily within a warehouse environment, which may involve exposure to mechanical components and moderate noise levels. Individuals in this role may experience diverse environmental conditions while fulfilling their responsibilities.
