JOB SUMMARY:
Maintains a clean, safe and sanitary environment for patients, staff and visitors. General housekeeping duties - cleaning patient rooms and emergency room. Daily disinfecting, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal and cleaning bathrooms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience working in environmental services in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of how to choose proper cleaning solutions preferred
- Understand relationship of sanitation and infection control preferred
- Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures preferred
