At Aveanna Healthcare LLC, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Overnight RN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.
Job Summary:The Overnight RN will be responsible for delivering and coordinating quality patient care in compliance with physician orders. This includes continuously observing and assessing patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate, and documenting all activities, assessments, and nursing actions in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders
- Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs
- Report changes in patient condition to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate
- Document all activities, assessments, and nursing actions in a timely manner
- Develop, implement, and update the nursing care plan
- Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes
- Recognize changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention and implement care to prevent risk or reduce risk
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
- Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
- Home health experience
The Overnight RN will work in a variety of environments, including patients' homes, and may be exposed to allergens and other conditions. The ability to function in a wide range of environments is essential for this role.
