About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our oncology team at Atrium Health. As an Oncology Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing patients, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze patient data to identify expected outcomes and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to implement treatment plans and coordinate care delivery.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on health needs, healthcare activities, and medication management.
  • Utilize knowledge and expertise to meet specific clinical needs of oncology patients.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with BSN preferred. Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of North Carolina is required. Oncology experience is preferred. Proficiency in IV therapy, bone marrow, spinals, thoracenteses, paracenteses, and phlebotomy is preferred. Oncology certification is preferred. BLS is required per policy guidelines.
