Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Technician to join our team at Reliance One, Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, including assembly cells, conveyor systems, robots, and other production equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with PLC and robotic programming, using HMI or PLC
  • Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, presses, motors, and pneumatic tools, ensuring optimal equipment performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve machine malfunctions and quality issues in welded assemblies
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to improve production processes and reduce downtime

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Proficient in SAP and experienced in working with complex production equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or GED required; vision system experience is a plus
  • Ability to work 2nd shift and adapt to changing production demands
