Job Summary

The IT Support Professional will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the company's computer systems, network infrastructure, and security systems. Responsibilities

  • Hardware and Software Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Network Infrastructure: Manage and maintain the local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN), including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Security Systems: Install, configure, and maintain access control systems, alarm systems, and intrusion alarms to ensure the security of the company's assets.
  • Surveillance Appliances: Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems to monitor and manage surveillance footage.
  • PA Systems: Install, configure, and maintain public address (PA) systems to ensure effective communication.
  • Compliance and Policies: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and IT best practices, ensuring compliance with non-disclosure agreements (NDA) and confidentiality requirements.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure and support activities, and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT Technology or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience (5+) as an IT Specialist or similar role, with a strong background in computer hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Certifications: Certification in relevant fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA) is a plus.

Working Conditions

The IT Support Professional will typically work in an office environment with flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on the business's operational needs.
