Computer Systems, Printers, and Peripherals: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices. Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Network Infrastructure and Appliances: Manage and maintain the local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN). Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor network performance and ensure network security and connectivity. Implement and manage VPNs and other remote access solutions. Security Systems: Install, configure, and maintain access control systems, alarm systems, and intrusion alarms. Ensure the security systems are functioning correctly and address any issues promptly. Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary measures to enhance security. Surveillance Appliances: Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems. Monitor and manage surveillance footage, ensuring data integrity and security. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to surveillance equipment. PA Systems: Install, configure, and maintain public address (PA) systems. Ensure the PA systems are operational and address any technical issues promptly. Compliance and Policies: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and IT best practices. Ensure compliance with non-disclosure agreements (NDA) and confidentiality requirements. Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure and support activities. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in IT services. Perform other related duties Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, and consistently embrace and exemplify the company's core values in all aspects of work. Bachelor's degree in IT Technology or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered. Certification in relevant fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA) is a plus. Proven experience (5+) as an IT Specialist or similar role. Experience in roles such as IT Support within the automotive/Cafe/Carwash industry, particularly in high-traffic and high-demand environments like NYC. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals. In-depth understanding of network infrastructure and devices. Experience with security systems, CCTV, and PA systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Typically will be working in an office Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on the business's operational needs.
