Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Recovery Centers of America. As an LPN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support in our behavioral health facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized care plans for patients with complex behavioral health needs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with co-occurring disorders.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on addiction treatment and recovery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Associate's degree or higher in nursing.
  • At least one year of experience in behavioral health or addiction treatment.
  • Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities, including medication-assisted treatment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment with a moderate noise level. The employee is required to use standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, and frequently uses hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
