Therapist Specialist

Job Summary:
Solution Based Therapeutics (SBT) is seeking a highly skilled Therapist Specialist to join our team. As a Therapist Specialist, you will provide therapeutic services to clients enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This role involves conducting individual and group therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support clients in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of clients to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Facilitate Therapy Sessions: Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and other therapists to ensure integrated care.
- Monitor Progress: Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Education and Support: Educate clients and their families about substance abuse, coping strategies, and relapse prevention.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Professional Development: Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Licensure: Valid state license or registration as a Therapist Specialist (e.g., LMFT, LPCC, LCSW).
- Experience: Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders, preferably in a PHP/IOP setting.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for substance abuse.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
