Job Title: Director of Financial Compliance and Analysis

Penn State University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Director of Financial Compliance and Analysis in the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procedures for post-award compliance and financial analysis to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supervise a team of financial analysts and compliance specialists to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Collaborate with research administrators, financial officers, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure research administrators and other stakeholders have the necessary knowledge and skills to comply with financial regulations and policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 10 years of experience in financial compliance and analysis, including at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
