The Automotive Technician is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of repairs and services necessary to meet customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates should be driven, diligent, and capable of collaborating effectively within a team. State certification is required (Applicable in Michigan Only), along with knowledge and experience in areas covered by the ASE certification programs, including Engine Repair, Drive Train/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, Engine Performance, and Light Vehicle/Diesel.

Job Responsibilities:

Key Duties:

  • Conducts vehicle repairs (Engine Repair, Drive Train/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, and Engine Performance).
  • Ensures a well-organized and safe working environment.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • State of Michigan Mechanic Certification (Applicable in Michigan Only).
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory for this role.
  • At least 2 years of automotive repair experience, particularly in under-car repairs, braking systems, and alignments.
  • High school diploma, GED, or vocational certificate is advantageous.
  • Capability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Flexible working hours, Monday through Saturday, in a workshop environment with significant physical demands and extended periods of standing.

Salary Range: $60,000-$130,000 Annually
