Job Title: Senior Treasury ALM Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Treasury ALM Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing complex treasury projects and strategies to balance sheet ALM purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute complex treasury projects and strategies to balance sheet ALM purposes.
  • Provide technical expertise, general direction, and subject matter expertise to the team.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of all processes, procedures, models, and system designs.
  • Provide seasoned expertise and leadership support on quantitative analysis.
  • Implement and/or execute strategies for interest rate risk management, balance sheet forecasting, or funds transfer pricing.
  • Coordinate the Bank's response to risk, auditors, and regulators and represent treasury's view on such issues as derivative accounting and transfer pricing for own domain area of expertise.
  • Work with product areas on hedging major product campaigns and on new product offerings.
  • Act as subject matter expert for own area and provide guidance / advice and recommendations to support dealings with internal / external partners.
  • Participate on internal / external committees to provide advice / counsel to business / finance partners and represents the interests of the Bank.
  • Shareholder Accountabilities:
    • Adheres to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for the business area.
    • Consistently exercises discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalates issues where appropriate.
    • Ensures respective programs / policies / practices are well managed, meet business needs, complies with internal and external requirements, and aligns with business priorities.
    • Protects the interests of the organization – identifies and manages risks, and escalates non-standard, high risk activities as necessary.
    • Ensures business operations are in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements (e.g. financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals and physical control of assets).
    • Participates in cross-functional / enterprise / initiatives as a subject matter expert helping to identify risk / provide guidance for complex situations.
    • Conducts internal and external research projects; supports the development / delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audience.
    • Monitors service, productivity and assess efficiency levels within own function and implement continuous process / performance improvements where opportunities exists.
    • Actively manages relationships within and across various business lines, corporate and/or control functions and ensures alignment with enterprise and / or regulatory requirements.
    • Keeps abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts.
    • Maintains a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite.

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
