Treasury Asset and Liability Management Specialist

About the Role:
The Treasury ALM Manager is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and developing reporting, analysis, and processes related to balance sheet asset and liability management. This includes balance sheet and net interest income forecasting, interest rate risk measurement, funds transfer pricing, and reporting & technical analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement reporting and analysis tools to support balance sheet management.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide analytical support for ongoing projects.
- Lead and/or support the work of junior team members, providing guidance and advice as a senior member of the team.
- Interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend course of action to improve products, processes, or services.
- Act as a technical expert/lead integrating cross-function understanding within their own field of specialty.
- Independently manage end-to-end functional programs.
- Solve or lead others to solve complex problems.
- Use sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify solutions.
- Communicate difficult concepts and convert information to compelling business context and advice.
- Work autonomously as the lead and guide others within area of expertise.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience.
Accountabilities:
- Provides day-to-day direction to team members on quantitative analysis.
- Executes strategies for interest rate risk management, balance sheet forecasting, or funds transfer pricing.
- Represents/provides critical information/context to risk, auditors, and regulators for own area of expertise.
- Works with product areas on hedging major product campaigns and on new product offerings.
- Acts as subject matter expert for own area and provides guidance/advice and recommendations to support dealings with internal/external partners.
- Participates on internal/external committees to provide advice/counsel to business/finance partners and represent the interests of the Bank.
