Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Oversight: Serve as the financial steward for various enterprises by preparing and validating monthly financial reports, confirming free cash flow (FCF), and conducting random audits on income, expenses, and vendor rebates.
  • Operational Enhancement: Identify and execute strategies to improve the financial performance of each business.
  • Personal Finance Management: Regularly update and maintain the owner's Personal Financial Statement (PFS), integrating financial data from all businesses.
  • Executive Assistance: Oversee multiple calendars, coordinate meetings, and manage all tasks arising from company discussions.
  • Communication Coordination: Manage various email accounts, responding on behalf of the owner and ensuring effective communication.
  • Issue Resolution: Tackle and resolve challenges related to banks, credit cards, mortgages, insurance companies, and other entities.
  • General Support: Organize and maintain calendars, documents, and notes across platforms such as Google Drive and Dropbox. Conduct research, create presentations, and assist in planning both personal and business travel.
  • Technology Implementation: Aid in the adoption of new systems and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proximity Requirement: Must reside within a reasonable distance from the office.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-starter with the ability to think independently and take initiative is essential.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong capability to interpret financial statements, identify improvement areas, and devise effective solutions.

As part of the selection process, candidates will be given a Profit & Loss statement and Balance Sheet to analyze, determining the FCF and identifying profit discrepancies down to the cent. This paid exercise will help assess analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
