**Job Summary**

We are looking for a Sous Chef who has experience in organizing and running high-end restaurants, as well as working in a front-facing capacity. The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with guests and providing exceptional service. This is a leadership position that requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Supervise and Train Staff**: Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that they are providing exceptional service and meeting the high standards of Scratch Restaurants Group.
  • **Maintain Quality Standards**: Maintain the highest quality standards in the kitchen, including food preparation, presentation, and safety.
  • **Manage Inventory and Purchasing**: Manage inventory and purchasing responsibilities to ensure that the restaurant has the necessary supplies and ingredients to meet demand.
  • **Lead by Example**: Lead by example and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the job.
  • **Communicate with Guests**: Communicate with guests to ensure that they are satisfied with their dining experience and provide exceptional service.
  • **Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment**: Maintain a clean and safe environment in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • **Perform Administrative Tasks**: Perform administrative tasks, including preparing reports and schedules, and maintaining accurate records.

**Requirements**

  • **Supervisory Experience**: 2+ years of supervisory experience in a high-end restaurant environment.
  • **Sous Chef Experience**: 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant environment.
  • **Certifications**: Certified in all safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
  • **Language Skills**: English language proficiency, professional communication skills, math skills, and computer skills.
  • **Physical Demands**: Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

**Travel**: Travel may be expected for this position.
