Job Overview
  • This position entails performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) evaluations throughout the MECoE process and during on-site assessments related to disassembly and repair operations. The role necessitates the application of technical expertise alongside strong interpersonal, organizational, and planning capabilities to foster a collaborative work environment. You will engage with the inspection team, assist in advanced inspection and mechanical tasks within your assigned area, support production workflows, conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective measures, contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives, and partake in training activities within designated work cells.
  • Shift Schedule: Primarily day shifts with flexibility for all shifts as required.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Execute NDT inspections on components as required.
  • Support the MES close-out and facilitate Gate 1 completion.
  • Assist the Cell Leader/Ops Technician in meeting production goals and objectives.
  • Provide training on inspection methodologies to fellow inspectors and mechanics.
  • Ensure compliance of work scopes and revisions with customer and regulatory standards.
  • Exhibit commitment to Environmental Health & Safety and continuous improvement efforts by adhering to established policies and procedures, completing necessary training, and participating in relevant committee activities.
Essential Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to program/contract stipulations.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in engine overhaul and repair, including NDT Level 1 Certification, Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI), Inspection, Disassembly, or Assembly.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory; certain system/tool access requires U.S. citizenship.
Raytheon Technologies adheres to FAA regulations and is classified as safety-sensitive by the FAA. Drug and alcohol testing is a requirement for pre-employment and ongoing random testing in accordance with FAA guidelines.Role Type:This position is classified as Onsite: Employees in Onsite roles primarily operate at the workplace, including all production and maintenance personnel essential for engine development. Candidates will be informed about role type and site status during the recruitment process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the site is the employee's responsibility.
