Growing People and Companies (GPAC), an award-winning search firm, is seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join their team. With a focus on inspection and compliance, this role is ideal for individuals passionate about ensuring the highest standards of fire safety.

As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting fire sprinkler systems to ensure they meet industry standards and regulations. This includes documenting inspection results, recommending repairs or replacements, and identifying potential hazards or safety concerns.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building codes and regulations, excellent communication skills, and a mechanical aptitude. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are also essential for this role.

In addition to a strong technical background, the successful candidate will have a high school diploma and a valid driver's license. This role offers a unique opportunity to establish a defined career path and continue to grow within a reputable organization.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities:

  • Inspect fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Document inspection results and recommend repairs or replacements as needed
  • Identify potential hazards or safety concerns and recommend corrective actions
  • Ensure fire sprinklers meet applicable industry standards and codes
  • Recommend improvements based on new technology developments or changes in fire safety standards
