Overhead Electrical Foreman

The OHE Foreman is a critical role within MasTec Utility Services, responsible for leading a crew to complete daily tasks related to the placement of overhead electrical cables. This position requires strong leadership and technical skills, with a focus on ensuring crew safety, managing project timelines, and maintaining high-quality work standards.

• Project Management: Oversee work related to each project, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with proper safety standards, procedures, and work practices, and facilitate daily toolbox talks and weekly safety inspections.
• Team Leadership: Lead and train crew members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
• Technical Expertise: Perform aerial tasks, such as new cable installs, pole transfers, strand building, cable hanging, and lashing, and place overhead electrical cables.
• Equipment Operation: Drive, haul, and/or operate equipment to/from job sites to assist crews in completion of work.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 6 years of experience, with 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Certifications: Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
