Medical Support Specialist

- Prepare patients for surgical procedures, including explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, as needed
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the operating room, including preparing and cleaning medical equipment
- Procure and prepare necessary materials and supplies for surgical procedures
- Monitor patients in the recovery room and provide post-operative care
- Adhere to strict hygiene and sterility regulations to prevent infection and ensure patient safety
- Contribute to the development of new concepts and structures for outpatient surgical care, as needed
- Completed vocational training as a Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant
- Or completed three-year training, ideally with experience (or further education according to DKG guidelines) in surgical procedures
- Experience in the operating room and familiarity with surgical instruments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, surgeons, and other medical staff
- Highly motivated, responsible, and flexible, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
