Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in the surgical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations, addressing their psychosocial, physical, and general needs.
  • Communicate continuously with physicians about patient condition and collaborate to develop effective care plans.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory management to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Assess procedure room and equipment functionality to ensure readiness for procedures.
  • Obtain necessary supplies for individual cases and ensure the Cardiovascular Laboratory team's needs are met.
  • Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Record patients' conditions continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab.
  • Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certificate upon hire and maintenance required.
  • One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area required.
