Key Responsibilities- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to develop technical baselines and analyze system requirements.
- Work with government and contractor personnel to close gaps in the flow of customer requirements and ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Lead and support government/contractor working group meetings to resolve risks, requirement gaps, and action items.
- Review proposed changes to the technical baseline for impacts to enterprise capabilities and cross-stakeholder integration concerns.
- Facilitate review of program documents and provide comments to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to assess technical issues and prepare briefings for DIA management.
- Support management of risks, issues, interdependencies, and schedule conflicts to ensure successful project execution.
- BS degree in engineering.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering.
- 4+ years of experience with system specification, verification, or analysis.
- Familiarity with MBSE and tools used to support requirements development and traceability.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organization capability with ability to handle competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate ideas, recommendations, and options to customers, senior leaders, and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF).
- US Citizenship and Required DoD Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain a DIA Special Compartmented Investigation (SCI).
- Certifications in Systems Engineering (INCOSE ESEP, CSEP).
- Certifications in MBSE (OCSMP).
- Certifications in Agile Development.
- Knowledge and experience in Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with MILSATCOM, such as AEHF, EPS, WGS, and FAB-T terminal programs.
- Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients.
- Experience with ground and airborne systems, such as terminals and networks.
