Position Title: Pharmacy Summer Camp Resident Counselor
Institution: East Tennessee State University
This role involves overseeing a 5-day Summer Camp, focusing on the well-being and safety of participants. As a Resident Counselor, your primary duties will include supervising campers during evening hours at the university's residence facilities. You will also be tasked with guiding students to dining areas, organizing recreational activities, ensuring adherence to curfews, and offering assistance to camp attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure the safety of all participants
- Provide guidance and support to campers
- Facilitate effective communication among participants
- Encourage teamwork and mediate any disputes
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of criminal background checks
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Current enrollment at East Tennessee State University
Preferred Experience:
- Background working with school-aged children
- Previous experience as a Resident Assistant, camp counselor, or in a similar capacity
- Enrollment in the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy or Quillen College of Medicine
