Key Responsibilities- Guest Service: Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and efficient manner.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, handling check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments, as well as processing payments and handling guest inquiries.
- Reservations and Sales: Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications, as well as upsell rooms and packages to maximize revenue.
- Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Security and Compliance: Maintain the security of cash, credit card transactions, and guest information, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: One year of previous hotel experience, or retail customer service preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera systems.
- Certifications: ServSafe certification required, TIPS certification preferred.
