Key Responsibilities


As a Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist, you will assist in all aspects of preparing, executing, and finalizing diagnostic and/or interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision. This role requires proficiency in various equipment and technologies, ensuring patient care aligns with hospital and departmental policies. You will also adhere to safety protocols for patients and staff, promoting teamwork through effective communication and adaptability in your duties.

Qualifications


Applicants must be graduates of an accredited radiography or cardiovascular technology program. ARRT certification is required for the Radiology department, along with a Florida Radiology license. Cardiovascular/Interventional Radiology certification is preferred (CV, VI, CI). Candidates must possess ARRT with state license or be graduates of an approved cardiovascular technology program to work in the Cardiac Cath/EP lab.

Experience


Preferred candidates will have two years of experience as a Radiographer, with a background in Cardiac Cath lab or Interventional Radiology. ACLS and BLS certifications are required upon hire.

Skills


The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and capable of multitasking. Independent work ability, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective communication are essential. Flexibility in working varied hours and shift lengths is required, with on-call duties as necessary.

Licenses or Certifications


ACLS & BLS, CVT or RTR certifications are necessary. Candidates must obtain RCIS certification within six months of hire.

Employment Details


This position is classified as nonexempt. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and tenure, alongside internal equity considerations.

Work Schedule


This is a full-time position, requiring 80 hours per pay period. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with 10-hour shifts that may vary between 6:45 AM and 6:00 PM. Weekend and holiday rotations are also part of the schedule.
