Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the imaging services, ensuring high standards of quality and patient care.
  • Monitor and verify patient documentation for accuracy and timely completion.
  • Conduct quality control assessments, maintain equipment, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Act as a resource for department staff and collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery.
  • Facilitate staff orientation, training, and ongoing coaching to promote professional development.
  • Contribute to performance evaluations for team members.
  • Accurately position patients and select appropriate anatomical and technical parameters.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory agency standards.
  • Guarantee the prompt submission of high-quality images and documentation to the PACS system.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department environment.
Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider certification required within one month of hire.
  • One of the following credentials is required within one year of hire:
    • Cardiographic Tech credential from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
    • Medical Sonographer credential from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Education:

  • High School diploma with two years of relevant experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree with one year of experience, or five years of applicable job-specific experience.
