Job Summary:

The RN Labor Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
  • Evaluate patient outcomes and make adjustments to care plans as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
Requirements:
  • Two (2) years of nursing experience
  • Able to circulate for C-sections
  • Able to triage for OB
  • ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing
  • BSN from an accredited school of Nursing
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
  • ACLS (AHA or ARC)
  • AWHONN (intermediate)
