Job Summary

GeoSearch is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey Crew Chief to lead our field operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our field crew, ensuring the accurate collection of data and information, and maintaining company equipment and survey vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of survey crew members in the field, ensuring the successful completion of projects and tasks.
  • Operate robotic total stations and GPS receivers to collect accurate data and information.
  • Conduct site assessments and surveys to identify and document site features and conditions.
  • Maintain and repair company equipment and survey vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure efficient and safe field operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in survey crew leadership or management.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and practices.
  • Ability to operate motorized equipment and work outdoors in various field conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
