About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java API Engineer to join our team in Minneapolis. As a key member of our API team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our common framework APIs, as well as supporting vulnerability management, API certification, and CICD pipeline enhancements.

About the Team

Our API team is experiencing rapid growth due to increasing business demands and the need to modernize our core API services. We support the Credit Card business and are responsible for fielding requests from customer-facing applications and connecting with back-end mainframe systems through zOS connect. We are also in the process of streaming data to NOSQL Cassandra.

About the Technologies

We use a range of technologies, including EAI products, API gateways, logging tools, alerting tools, programming languages, web technologies, data management systems, operating systems, and information security tools. Our ideal candidate will have experience with Java, Springboot, PL/SQL, COBOL, SOAP, REST, XSD, JSON, XML, Apollo GraphQL, NOSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Event Streaming, Kafka, Windows, Linux, zOS, Black Duck, Twistlock, Fortify, PRISMA, SonarQube, Urban Code Deploy, EDSE Pipeline, Gitlab, AWS, GCP, Azure, Microservices, Containers, Docker, Kubernetes, JIRA, JIRA Dragonboat, and Confluence.

About the Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in Java and Springboot, as well as experience with API development, vulnerability management, and CICD pipeline enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development principles, including Agile methodologies, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment.
