Job Title: API Inspector

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking a skilled API Inspector to join our team in Brookfield, WI.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced API Inspector to perform visual and non-destructive examinations of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical integrity and inspection, with a minimum of five years of experience working as a visual inspector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform visual and non-destructive examinations of pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API standards
  • Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition
  • Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment
  • Provide technical input to clients on welding and metallurgical issues
  • Provide technical guidance on non-destructive examination techniques and procedures
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years of experience working as a visual inspector
  • Strong background in mechanical integrity and inspection
  • Technical report writing skills
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
