Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Manager

As a Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Manager at Nutrien, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. You will be responsible for generating and distributing weekly, monthly, and year-to-date KPI metrics data for schedule compliance, PM compliance, reactive work, overdue PMs, safety and environmental backlog, and aging backlog. You will also interact cross-functionally with members of the management staff to ensure production processes are not interrupted during plant upsets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance planning and scheduling policies and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Administer and oversee maintenance budgets and resources.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with maintenance vendors and suppliers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in maintenance planning and scheduling.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in industrial maintenance with supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
