Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct, individualized, goal-directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Administer medications and report patient symptoms and conditions to the Registered Nurse.
  • Provide quality patient care within the framework of the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health.
  • Meet the requirements for successful passage of the LPN examination and current Alabama LPN licensure.
  • Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Obtain additional specialty certification per P and P for assigned unit (PALS, ACLS, etc.).
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns.
  • Work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Requirements
  • Successful passage of the LPN examination.
  • Current Alabama LPN licensure.
  • BCLS certification.
  • Additional specialty certification per P and P for assigned unit (PALS, ACLS, etc.).
