Position Overview:
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Tenet Healthcare Corporation is actively seeking three highly qualified and dedicated pediatric gastroenterologists to enhance our esteemed team. This role offers the chance to deliver exceptional medical care to children and adolescents within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary outpatient and inpatient medical services, including performing endoscopic procedures.
- Engage in general pediatric gastroenterology practices at our primary facility and affiliated clinics in the surrounding area.
- Contribute to the education of GI Fellows, Residents, and medical students through active teaching and mentorship.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Board Certified or eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
- A strong interest in or additional training in advanced endoscopy, motility disorders, and nutrition is preferred.
- Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Michigan.
About Our Division:
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition is composed of a committed team of professionals, including six board-certified pediatric gastroenterologists, one board-certified pediatric hepatologist, three nurse practitioners, five clinical nurses, and two dietitians. Our division prides itself on its ACGME-accredited fellowship program, which admits one fellow annually.
The Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition Program at Tenet Healthcare Corporation is consistently recognized among the top programs in the nation for Pediatric Gastroenterology and GI Surgery. We utilize state-of-the-art technology for a variety of procedures, including endoscopy, breath hydrogen tests, pH/impedance monitoring, capsule endoscopy, percutaneous gastrostomy tube placement, variceal banding, and sclerotherapy. Comprehensive motility studies, such as esophageal and anorectal manometry, are also part of our offerings.
