Pediatric Gastroenterologist Positions Available

Position Overview:
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Tenet Healthcare Corporation is actively seeking three dedicated and proficient pediatric gastroenterologists to enhance our esteemed team. This role provides the chance to deliver exceptional medical care to children and adolescents within a nurturing and collaborative atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary outpatient and inpatient medical services, including conducting endoscopic procedures.
- Participate in general pediatric gastroenterology functions at our primary facility and associated clinics.
- Engage in the education of GI Fellows, Residents, and medical students.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Board Certified or eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
- A strong interest or additional training in advanced endoscopy, motility disorders, and nutrition is preferred.
- Eligibility for licensure in the state of Michigan.
About Our Division:
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition is composed of a committed team of professionals, including six board-certified pediatric gastroenterologists, one board-certified pediatric hepatologist, three nurse practitioners, five clinical nurses, and two dietitians. Our division is proud of its ACGME-accredited fellowship program, which admits one fellow annually.
The Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition Program at Tenet Healthcare Corporation is consistently recognized among the top programs in the nation for Pediatric Gastroenterology and GI Surgery. Our division utilizes cutting-edge technology for a variety of procedures, including endoscopy, breath hydrogen tests, pH/impedance monitoring, capsule endoscopy, percutaneous gastrostomy tube placement, variceal banding, and sclerotherapy. We also conduct comprehensive motility studies, such as esophageal and anorectal manometry. Endoscopic procedures are performed at our main facility and affiliated locations. Our division collaborates with several interdisciplinary programs, including the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Program, Aerodigestive Disease Clinic, Intestinal Rehabilitation Clinic, and Pediatric Liver Disease and Transplant Program.
