Key Responsibilities:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Assisted Living facility, you will provide personalized nursing care to residents, ensuring adherence to nursing protocols and under the guidance of the Director of Resident Care (DRC).

You will also ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, as well as the standards set by HRA.

  • Deliver high-quality and safe healthcare services to residents.
  • Execute care plans developed by the physician and DRC.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided.
  • Provide essential information to residents and their families regarding diagnoses and care plans.
  • Administer medications as prescribed, documenting on the Medication Administration Record (MAR) and monitoring for adverse reactions.
  • Organize resident charts and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Prepare incident reports as necessary and communicate with physicians and families post-incident.

Workplace Safety and Environment:
  • Foster a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to clinical standards.
  • Assist residents in developing self-care skills.
  • Coordinate resources to meet the needs of residents under your care.
  • Recognize emergencies and respond appropriately.
  • Uphold confidentiality and respect resident rights regarding personal information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
  • Exhibit a commitment to safety and accountability for the well-being of associates and residents.
