As a Registered Nurse in our Psychiatric department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
Responsibilities- Accurately assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide and implement nursing care interventions, including medication administration and wound care
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care interventions and make adjustments as needed
- Provide a leadership role in organizing and providing patient care, including delegating tasks to other team members
- Teach patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Maintain a commitment to professional growth and competency, staying up-to-date on the latest nursing practices and technologies
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
- No experience required, one year medical/psychiatric experience preferred
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic computer skills to use electronic medical records and other online systems
