Research and Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Tech to join our team at Openwork/Rock Staffing in Griffin, GA. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for assisting the Technical Manager in the development of new formulations and their analytical testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of new formulations and their analytical testing
- Operate laboratory equipment, including laboratory extruders, to support production activities
- Compile and analyze data from compounding and testing projects
- Test products and run formulation in batches as per standard operating procedure
- Maintain, operate, and calibrate laboratory equipment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow defined procedures and document measurements
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday and work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
