Job Overview

Public Service Credit Union is in search of a motivated, approachable, and professional individual to fill the role of Float Teller. This position is essential for providing exceptional service across our various branch locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently process transactions for members, including deposits and withdrawals, while verifying cash and endorsements on checks.
  • Educate members about our products and services to assist them in achieving their financial objectives.
  • Address routine member service inquiries and requests.
  • Maintain a positive, member-focused attitude at all times.
  • Prioritize fraud prevention, security, and accuracy in all transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently.
  • Basic proficiency in computer and mathematical skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a financial institution.
  • Prior cash handling experience is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
  • Sales experience is a plus.

Job Expectations:

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work on some Saturdays.
  • Willingness to float to various branch locations as required.
