A prestigious opportunity for an Infectious Disease Physician to provide inpatient and outpatient services at a 192-bed facility in Louisiana. This role offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits package, and malpractice insurance coverage.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients with various infectious diseases, including HIV and HCV. The physician will work closely with mid-level staff and have access to a large referral base. The service lines include general ID, HIV, and HCV, with high-volume clinic and hospital consults available.
About the Facility:
The facility features a 24-bed closed ICU and is located just 2 hours from New Orleans. With easy access to Baton Rouge and Houston, this location offers a unique blend of urban and rural amenities. As a Tort reform state, Louisiana provides a stable and secure environment for medical professionals.
Benefits:
The Physician Empire offers a highly competitive pay package, including a base salary of $400,000 per year, plus bonuses and benefits. The company also contributes to a 403(b) retirement plan and reimburses CME and professional fees. Malpractice insurance is covered, providing peace of mind for our physicians.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must be Board certified or Board eligible in Infectious Disease and have experience working in similar settings. A strong understanding of general ID, HIV, and HCV is essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
