Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Coordinator to join our team at Novant Health - jobshealth. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care and ensuring seamless transitions within the Operating Room department.

Estimated Salary: $73,000 - $93,000 per year

This is a full-time position with a 0.9 FTE schedule, working 72 hours every two weeks on night shifts from 7am to 7pm. Some weekend shifts may be required.

About the Role

In this role, you will communicate and coordinate patient care plans in an interdisciplinary model. You will also manage and deliver patient care using the nursing process, applying critical thinking skills to resolve problems and ensure timely admissions, transfers, and discharges.

You will be responsible for documenting assessments, delivering care, and patients' responses in medical records. Additionally, you will provide information and facilitate patient/family teaching.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school
  • A current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact license
  • At least one year of experience in acute care settings
