Job Description

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and data center operations
  • Provide technical solutions to internal customers in a timely manner
  • Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of production server hardware and software
  • System board level repair and fault diagnosis to SLAs
  • Planning and commissioning new rack positions
  • Structured cabling installation
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support and server administration in a mid-sized environment
  • Experience working in a mission-critical operations environment
  • Strong understanding of data center design, including electrical and cooling plant operation
  • Knowledge of airflow management, rack and stack equipment, and structured cabling
  • Systems administration experience with Linux and/or Windows Servers
  • Hardware repair and diagnosis experience
  • Networking fundamentals and IT hardware concepts
