Frankfort Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Nurse RN to join our team. As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and reassess patients' conditions, developing individualized plans of care to meet their unique needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, lab results, and other diagnostic data to identify potential complications or changes in condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Current RN licensure by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or a compact state.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS and PALS certification within 1 year of employment.
- CPI certification within 6 months of employment.
