Job Overview

Maintain the highest level of security and resilience for automated systems at Mount Indie.

This role requires an experienced engineer to design, implement, and manage advanced security measures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Security Infrastructure: Develop, implement, and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP systems, and SIEM tools to safeguard automated processes and technologies.
  • Automate Security Assessments and Penetration Testing: Create and execute security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend effective mitigations.
  • Establish and Maintain Security Policies: Create and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Create and Manage POA&Ms: Develop and manage Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to address vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
  • Support DevSecOps Initiatives: Embed test-driven security measures into CI/CD pipelines to support DevSecOps initiatives.
  • Authorization and Incident Response: Provide support for Authorization to Operate (ATOs and cATOs) and assist in incident response activities, including forensic analysis, evidence collection, and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Clearance and Citizenship: Active Secret clearance is mandatory per contract requirements, and U.S. citizenship is required; dual citizenship is not permitted.
  • Availability and Location: This position requires availability to support 24x7x365 operations, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule, and candidates must reside within commuting distance of Annapolis Junction, MD.
  • Experience and Skills: A minimum of 7 years' experience in a Security Automation Engineering or related role is required.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience.
