Overview

Mercy Hospital's Cardiac Telemetry unit is a high-paced 35-bed department providing exceptional care to patients with STEMI's, post Cardiac Catheterization care, CHF, Arrythmia and Blood pressure Management, Cardiac Catheterization, and Stroke management.

Salary and Benefits

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Mercy Hospital Washington, you can expect a competitive salary of up to $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs and up to $15,000 for graduate nurses. Additionally, you will enjoy the following benefits:

Job Description

Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 with Patient Care Associates on staff to assist as well. As a Cardiac Telemetry Nurse, your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Providing care to patients with cardiac conditions such as STEMI's, CHF, and Arrhythmia
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Participating in educational programs to enhance skills and knowledge in cardiac telemetry
Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must possess:

  • A degree from an accredited registered professional nursing program
  • A current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
  • The ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Prolonged standing and walking each shift
  • The ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
