Job Summary

Cullman Parks, Recreation, & Sports Tourism is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Golf Course Attendant. As a key member of our golf operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our golf course, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the opening and closing duties of the cart barn and practice range.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to golfers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized golf cart fleet, ensuring that all carts are properly staged and ready for use.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks on golf carts, including cleaning and lubricating equipment.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the golf course, including raking bunkers and repairing divots.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the golf course.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or maintenance role preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Working Environment

The work environment for this position is outdoors, with exposure to adverse weather conditions and hazards associated with parking lot traffic, exposure to electricity, chemicals, and fumes.

Physical Demands

The physical demands for this position are mostly sedentary, with standing for prolonged periods of time, walking, bending, stooping, and carrying moderately heavy items required.
