Job Summary

Cullman Parks, Recreation, & Sports Tourism is seeking a skilled Golf Course Attendant to join our team. As a Golf Course Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our golf course facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the opening and closing duties of the cart barn and practice range.
  • Provide professional service to golf shop customers and other employees.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of golf carts.
  • Notify staff of any golf cart damage or issues.
  • Restock range balls and maintain inventory levels.
  • Perform minor golf cart maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Assist the Director of Golf with various tasks and projects.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Work a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Working Environment

The Golf Course Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment, exposed to various weather conditions and hazards associated with parking lot traffic, electricity, chemicals, and fumes.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this position include standing for prolonged periods, walking, bending, stooping, and carrying moderately heavy items. The ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance is required.
