Job Title: Certified Respiratory Therapist - Travel Position

We're seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a travel position in Anderson, IN. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of recent acute care experience and possess the necessary certifications.

Job Summary:

As a CRT, you will provide direct patient care in various clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines. Your responsibilities will include administering respiratory and cardiology modalities, maintaining patient records, and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Clean, disinfect, and calibrate respiratory and cardiology equipment
  • Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines
  • Interact with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
  • Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 1 year of recent acute care experience
  • NBRC-CRT certification
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • PALS and NRP certifications may be required in some areas

Please note that additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
