Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies
  • Assess patient needs and develop a plan of care based on diagnosis
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans and equipment
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition
  • Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions and provide information about community support groups and other available programs
  • Respond to emergency resuscitation team codes
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider, Respiratory Care Practitioner, and Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
