Job Description:

In this challenging role as a Packaging Engineering Manager, you will lead the design of complex packaging systems, drive projects to completion on time and on budget, and provide technical leadership for various initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of packaging designs for new products and line extensions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and coordinate the launch of new products, including concept development, project planning, design reviews, and test plan development.
  • Develop and manage packaging documentation, including design control documentation, test protocols, and technical reports.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing teams, assessing and developing action plans to overcome packaging-related manufacturing issues.
  • Participate in due diligence teams to support New Business Development/acquisition teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering/Packaging Science, Life Sciences, or other Engineering discipline, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in packaging engineering and design, or Master's degree in relevant field with 6 years of experience.
  • Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industries is preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of FDA and functional requirements for sterile, non-sterile, disposable, and reusable devices.
  • Ability to conceptualize ideas, motivate teams, and drive projects to completion on time and on budget.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
